CNC Bending

CNC Press Brake Folding

CNC Press Brake Folding is a highly precise metal forming process used to bend and shape
sheet metal into required angles and profiles. In a CNC press brake machine, the entire
bending operation is digitally controlled. The operator inputs specific parameters such as
the bending angle, bend radius (curvature), and the exact distance between multiple bends,
based on the final design and finish requirements.

Once the data is entered, the CNC system automatically performs advanced calculations
including bend allowance, material thickness compensation, and spring-back correction.
The machine then controls the ram movement and applied pressure with extreme accuracy
to achieve consistent and precise bending results. This automated process reduces manual
errors, improves repeatability, and ensures high production efficiency even for complex
multi-bend components.
